This time, another monstrous troll emerges from inside a mountain and causes heavy damage to the country, so Nora Tiddeman (Ine Marie Willmann) is tasked with stopping the creature now that she’s clearly an expert following the first film.

Her solution? Befriend another troll in the hopes that he’s friendly and ask him to fight the other one. it’s the sort of whacky action film that is perfect for Netflix. Save Troll 2 for a Friday night, kick back, and watch to Trolls beat each other senseless. Absolute cinema.

After Rian Johnson reinvigorated the whodunnit with Knives Out and Glass Onion, he’s returned once more with another Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) mystery. The third film is described as Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet” as he travels to upstate New York to investigate the suspicious murder of a priest.

Much of the mystery unfolds in and around the church that Monsignor Jefferson (Josh Brolin) preaches at, before turning up dead. It’s up to Blanc and a younger priest, Father Jud Duplintency (Josh O’Connor) to figure out the truth behind the killing.

F1: The Movie

  • Release date: December 7
  • Cast: Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem,
  • Director: Joseph Kosinski
  • Where to stream: Apple TV+

Look, it might just be Top Gun: Maverick but on a racetrack, but there’s no denying that F1: The Movie is one of the most gripping movies of the year. Director Joseph Kosinski lets his cameras fly around the track in such a way that the audience experiences the thrill of racing like never before.

The plot sees an old racer, Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), join a failing F1 team led by youngster Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) to try and reclaim some glory that he missed out on earlier in his career.

Throw in a feisty mentor-mentee dynamic between the two racers, and F1: The Movie is more than just the marketing cash grab some expected it to be.
