Skibidi Toilet creator allegedly loses control of the series sparking #bringboomback movement

Skibidi Toilet creator DaFuqBoom has allegedly lost creative control of the series to Invisible Narratives, according to claims circulating in the community and messages shared by content creator EliteBlueGuy.

The company, led by CEO Adam Goodman, is also accused of taking control of the YouTube channel that publishes new episodes. DaFuqBoom, real name Alexey Gerasimov, is the creator behind the viral Garry’s Mod web series Skibidi Toilet that has generated hundreds of millions of views since 2023.

Gerasimov signed a deal with Invisible Narratives in 2024 to develop official Skibidi Toilet projects, with a film reported to be in the works. Michael Bay’s name was attached to direct, but the iconic director shut down that report on Instagram.

Fans began raising concerns in November 2025 after Discord messages attributed to Gerasimov suggested he was no longer involved in key decisions related to the show.

In these messages, Gerasimov allegedly writes that he feels “completely isolated from process,” saying he has not received updates or concept materials for the film.

In screenshots shared by EliteBlueGuy, he apparently wrote: “I have not seen any previsions, were not involved in discussing any details. Just nothing,” and later added, “Something imprecise and blurry was described on the phone about it, I seen bits of script, and that’s it.”

Screenshots claim creator expresses concern over contract and payment

Alongside the creative-control claims, additional screenshots appear to show Gerasimov expressing financial stress.

In one exchange, he appears to write, “I can’t. I’m almost broke, dude,” when told he could retire. In another message, he states, “Nothing, I’m just not being paid out anything” when asked why he was struggling financially.

In another message shared by EliteBlueGuy, he referenced speaking with “Michael,” though the creator later clarified that Michael Bay is not directly involved and that Invisible Narratives is run by Adam Goodman.

TheGamer reported that some messages attributed to Gerasimov were later deleted at his request, with one screenshot showing him asking a friend to remove earlier posts after reportedly speaking with the company.

A petition was also started back on November 20 from fans urging Invisible Narratives to hand back control to Gerasimov. That has gotten almost 8,000 signatures.

The #bringboomback hashtag continues trending in the Skibidi Toilet community as fans call for clarity on the creator’s status and involvement, with many fans urging others to sign the petition.

As of now, Invisible Narratives has not publicly commented on the allegations. Gerasimov has not posted any statement on his public channels addressing the circulating screenshots.
