YouTube: Clickbaited/Matthew BeemMatthew Beem has revealed how a risky creative gamble helped him break into MrBeast’s inner circle.
In a Clickbaited interview on Wednesday, December 3, the YouTuber told Dexerto how building a custom Beast Burger delivery car became the moment that changed his relationship with Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson.
Beem explained that the project came long before he had an established audience. He had only 16,000 subscribers and was still trying to figure out how to get the creator’s attention.
How Beem got on MrBeast’s radar
Beem said the original plan was to cover a friend’s house in thousands of printed photos of MrBeast. The idea didn’t land, and the video only pulled in 800 views.
However, one of MrBeast’s producers followed him on Instagram soon after, which eventually led to Beem pitching a new idea tied to Beast Burger’s launch during the height of the ghost kitchen boom.
Beem customized a full Beast Burger delivery car and began driving toward North Carolina, relying only on the Instagram connection he had made. When he was already 16 hours into the trip, he finally messaged the producer with a photo. The team called him and told him to come by the next day.

Beem said he was averaging 200 views per upload at the time, but the meeting led to them filming together.
After showing MrBeast breakdowns of his editing style, Beem said Donaldson recognized how much research he had done and how committed he was. According to Beem, that moment is when he earned the creator’s respect, which later opened the door to future collaborations.
