As the new year gets closer, nearly every entertainment app begins rolling out the ability to check out the content you consumed throughout the year.
YouTube launched its first-ever site-wide recap for 2025 on December 2, then Twitch quickly followed up with theirs. Spotify Wrapped is set to launch soon, but those who use YouTube Music can already access their recap for the year.

The feature is available in the mobile app and shows your top artists, songs, genres, and moods based on your listening history throughout 2025. Here’s how to get it:
- Open the YouTube Music app on your phone
- Look for the Recap card on the Home tab and tap it
- Select 2025 Recap
- Watch your recap and scroll through the stat pages
- Tap through to view your autogenerated playlists and shareable cards
For 2025, YouTube Music has launched a “Ask Music” feature that uses AI to dive into your history. Some of the suggested prompts to ask include:
- How did my listening change over the year?
- Was my music more chill or hype?
- Guess my zodiac sign based on my 2025 listening.
