Clash of Clans YouTuber faces channel ban after developer copyright strikes multiple videos

EricOneHive, a Clash of Clans creator with more than 450,000 YouTube subscribers, says his channel is facing removal after receiving multiple copyright strikes from Supercell.

In posts shared across X, he alleged the studio filed mass takedown notices on his videos, triggering YouTube’s three-strike enforcement policy. Eric, an esports caster who has produced Supercell-related content for seven years, shared screenshots showing several videos removed due to copyright claims linked to Clash of Clans footage.

According to the notices, Supercell submitted the strike requests, and YouTube flagged his channel for termination once the third claim was applied.

YouTube’s system placed the channel in the removal queue, prompting Eric to issue counter notifications in an attempt to keep it online. He said the platform rejected most of his responses, leaving the three strikes in place and putting the channel at risk of deletion.

In a post on November 26, EricOneHive wrote that his “460k subscriber YouTube channel will be deleted in a few hours due to mass copyrights received from Supercell.” He launched a GoFundMe, stating that he expects a legal dispute to follow the takedowns.

He later posted a longer statement saying YouTube paused the removal while reviewing his counter-claims but warned that the channel could still be deleted. He told followers that even if the account survives the process, he will no longer cover Supercell games going forward.

The creator also said he may take time away from uploading as he navigates the situation, but he plans to continue sharing updates on X. He thanked viewers for supporting his work over the last seven years and added that he believes stepping away from Supercell content is the right decision under the circumstances.
