Brandon Buckingham, a YouTuber known for his documentary and man-on-the-street style videos, has revealed a series of major emergency health concerns after months of hospital visits.

“My heart is failing, my lungs are failing, my liver and kidneys are failing,” he said. “Things are not looking good my friends. I love you guys.”
Fans concerned after Brandon Buckingham health update
This follows couple of posts from the YouTuber dating back to Halloween 2025 when he uploaded a photo of himself in a hospital bed and a follow-up on X ten days later.
“I’m out of the hospital for now and my condition seems to have stabilized,” he said at the time. “God willing, in a few weeks I will be able to start improving.”
Unfortunately, things seem to have only gotten worse.
On November 19, Brandon updated fans again, revealing he was back in the hospital and the doctors were investigating.
“Doctor believes I have tuberculosis, septic pneumonia, and/or liver failure,” he explained.
Just eight weeks prior, the YouTuber noted how he wasn’t in a good headspace ever since his grandmother died.
“I have more people waiting for me in heaven than here on earth. I think God has a plan for me that I don’t understand. I love you grandma, say hi to Kyle for me. I wish I could die with you.”

Brandon Buckingham pleads for help with his medical recovery
On November 22, Brandon shared another update, revealing that he “almost died” and is in a “dire situation.”
The creator explained that he created a GoFundMe to help with his wife and 11-month-old baby while he recovers and pays off his medical bills.
“4 days ago, I woke up not knowing where I was completely deaf, my feet were swollen and I was in severe pain. I was rushed to the urgent care and eventually the ICU. I was very disoriented and confused,” he said.
“The initial diagnosis was acute systolic heart failure, kidney failure, and liver failure, all things brought on by pneumonia and subsequent sepsis or possibly tuberculosis. The good news is they no longer think I have tuberculosis. The bad news is my heart is still failing, and my lungs, liver and kidneys are all still in very rough shape.”
Buckingham added that if he does survive, it will be a “very long recovery” and he won’t be able to provide for his family for several months.
“A cardiology specialist informed me that I may be on bedrest anywhere for 2 to 4 months as I recover from this very scary, life-threatening illness. I will need help with things like my mortgage, utilities, baby supplies and the over $100k in medical bill debt I have racked up while dealing with this nightmare. I also will likely need to be on heart medication the rest of my life.”
According to the YouTuber, his heart is only working at 15-20% and urged his fans to either donate or watch his videos as he won’t be able to make new ones for a while.
At the time of writing, Brandon has already raised $20,000 of a $75,000 goal.
