Release date

World of Warcraft: Midnight will be released to all players who have purchased the expansion on March 2, 2026, at 3pm PST / 6pm EST / 11pm GMT.

How to prepurchase

To prepurchase WoW Midnight, you’ll need to head over to the World of Warcraft website and grab your chosen edition. This will offer you access to the housing features early, which are currently live.

How to play the beta

If you’ve bought the Epic Edition of WoW: Midnight, then you’ll automatically be allowed in the Beta. If not, you can opt in and request Beta Access by following these steps:

• Head to the World of Warcraft Midnight website
• Click Request Beta Access.
• Log in or create an account for Battle.net.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to wait and see if you’re lucky enough to get Beta Access.

Housing explained

One of the most highly anticipated features coming to WoW in its Midnight update is housing. This invites players to Founders Point. There, you’ll be able to create your very own home, designing the outside and inside using various decor, which you can get by completing quests or buying.

Dexerto / Blizzard

You can also visit your friends’ homes across platforms and place your house next to other players or in private neighborhoods so you can create a community with your guild or friends.

Inside Founders Point will be various monthly activities and tasks to unlock themed decorations.

Zones

WoW Midnight will introduce four new and reimagined zones, and a brand new world:

• Silvermoon City: The Blood Elf capital, which has been completely redesigned and serves as the campaign hub.
• Eversong Woods: Features beautiful woods thanks to the renewed power of the Sunwell, just don’t look up.
• Zul’Aman: The homeland of Warlord Zul’jin and the Amani Troll Empire.
• Harandar: A primordial jungle and the home of the Haranir.
• Voidstorm: A world shaped by the Void, expect lots of danger, and some allies here.
