To find Chimecho, you encounter it during a dedicated side quest in the Mega Dimension DLC.

Where to find Mega Chimecho’s Mega Stone

To get Chimechonite, you must complete the side quest – and defeat Chimecho. Once you finish the quest, the item is awarded to you as your reward.

Can Mega Chimecho be Shiny?

Yes, it can be Shiny in Pokemon Legends Z-A. The one you catch inside the mission will not be Shiny, though.
