Winter Wildcards promo
Winter Wildcards, the yearly Christmas promo, is returning to Ultimate Team in EA FC 26, bringing plenty of festive special cards. Here’s everything you need to know about the event, including the entirely leaked Team 1.
When is Winter Wildcards?
The EA FC 26 Winter Wildcards event is due to begin on Friday, December 19, 2025, according to leaks. It’s set to replace Unbreakables be a two-week-long event, running over the holidays and into the New Year, before coming to an end on January 2, 2026.
What to expect
Just like most other Ultimate Team promos, Winter Wildcards bring a ton of special cards to the mode. You can expect current players, as well as Heroes and Icons, all with heavily boosted stats and extra PlayStyles.
Interestingly, leaks have revealed that some players will receive multiple cards in different positions. For example, PSG’s Ousmane Dembele is expected to get a winger card as well as a striker card, with the latter focusing more on finishing rather than pace.
That’s not all, though, as many of the biggest and best cards from past promos are also likely to return to packs as a re-release. So, if you missed out on them the first time, this will be the ideal time to try and snag them.
As the replacement for FUTMAS, there will also be daily SBCs and objectives to complete in order to earn valuable packs or exclusive players.
