Silver Superstars

EA FC 26 brings back a fan-favorite feature in the form of Silver Superstars, giving players the chance to earn unique versions of popular Heroes and Icons. Here’s everything you need to know, including all of the cards released so far and how to get them.

What are Silver Superstars in FC 26?

Silver Superstars are silver-rated versions of Heroes and Icons featuring toned-down stats and ratings. It’s a new take on the popular Silver Stars feature from previous games, which did the opposite and boosted existing Silver players to 74-rated and buffed their stats.

While these items are unlikely to find their way into the meta, they still prove extremely useful throughout the Ultimate Team seasons. You can expect tournaments that force you to use lower-rated cards, or objectives that require scoring or assisting with Silver players, so they’re well worth unlocking.

Each new season is themed around a specific national team and tournament, which in turn brings new Silver Superstars that fit that criteria. For example, Season 1 is all about the 1966 England World Cup squad, and one of the players included will be Sir Bobby Charlton, while Season 2 focuses on the 1970 World Cup in Mexico instead.

How to get Silver Superstar cards

Each Silver Superstar player is available by completing “long-term Season Objectives,” which go live at the start of each new season. They vary from player to player, but require you to complete multiple challenges to get hold of the card, with smaller rewards being handed out along the way.
