The Decay of Fashion
The Decay of Fashion is the first quest you get when you enter Glamour Gulch in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch, giving players a glimpse at Cruella and getting them one step closer to unlocking more horses. Here’s how to complete the quest.
How to complete The Decay of Fashion
Level up Maximus
Begin The Decay of Fashion by speaking to Snow White, who will explain that you need to level Maximus up to level three in order to cross the bridge to Glamour Gulch.
To do so, increase your bond by completing tasks with them, jumping over haybales (there’s a good course left of Wishblossom Ranch), brushing them, petting them, and feeding them their favorite foods.
Find Cruella
With Maximus at level three, speak to Snow White and follow her to Glamour Gulch. From there, you’ll jump the bridge and be instructed to follow the tracks into the Quarry, which is the lower part of the region.
Then, interact with the makeup kit and follow the red scent trail, which will end in a cave containing Cruella.
Take photos of the region
She’ll ask you to take photos of the following landmarks so she can see what state Glamour Gulch is in:
- Quarry Mine Tracks
- Iron Bridge
- Lighthouse near the Bridge
Once you’ve done that, speak to Cruella again and follow her to the Bell Tower.
Restore the Bell Tower
The tower is in rough shape, so you’ll need the following materials to fix it up:
- Clear 20 Dead Wishblossoms: Run through the dried bushes with your horse.
- 10 Sequin Strands: In the ground in Glamour Gulch
- 10 Antique Clothes Irons: Mined in mining nodes around Glamour Gulch.
- 10 Beady Soil: Dug up in Glamour Gulch
- 5 Jasper: Mined in Glamour Gulch
Cook an Afternoon Tea
The work isn’t done yet, as Cruella will ask you to make her an Afternoon Tea. She’ll provide the recipe, but you’ll need to speak to Goofy and collect the following ingredients:
- Dark Chocolate Coffee Beans: Brought as seeds for 60 Star Coins at Goofy’s caravan (30 min grow time)
- Pearly Barley: Brought as seeds for 60 Star Coins at Goofy’s caravan (20 min grow time)
- Puncushion Peach: Found on trees in Glamour Gulch
- Any vegetable: Carrots are easiest
Dexerto / GameloftWhen you have all the ingredients, head to a cooking pot and cook up the Afternoon Tea Set and bring it back to Cruella. Predictably, she won’t be pleased. But she’ll offer you a table to place in Glamour Gulch. Place it, speak to her, and your quest will be complete.
