The Decay

The Decay is the final main quest of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch expansion, and has you freeing the Wishblossoms to finally restore the Ranch and all of its horses and characters. So, here’s how to complete it.

How to complete The Decay

Level up Pegasus

Once you’ve completed Crystal Cavern: Pixie Acres, you’ll need to speak to Snow White, who will ask you to form a stronger bond with Pegasus. Specifically, you’ll need to level him up to level five, so be prepared for it to take you quite a while.

We recommend feeding, brushing, and petting him, and then setting up a haybale obstacle course to run around so you can level him up fast. Alternatively, try out some of the game’s friendship quests so you can mine, cook up recipes, and complete tasks with your horse, increasing your bond.

Wear a new outfit

Once you’ve done that, speak to Snow White, Cruella, and Tigger to grab some brand new accessories. You’ll then need to equip them to your character.

It’s worth noting that you can’t edit your outfit while on your horse, so you’ll need to get off and put on the accessories.

Help the Wishblossoms

Once you have your new style, head over to the Wishblossom Heart and speak to them. They’ll direct you to a new island where you’ll need to break the Decay Crystals and speak to each Wishblossom.

Thankfully, the crystals aren’t too hard to find, and you don’t need to solve any puzzles to break them, so it shouldn’t take too long.

When that’s complete, you’ll be transported back to the Wishblossom Heart for the final conversation, and the main quest will be complete, marking the end of the main story. All that’s left to do now is check out the friendship quests, like Snow Whites Handle With Care.
