Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Guides

Best controller settings

Black Ops 7 matches are very fast-paced, and you’ll need the best controller settings to ensure your aim is on point and you can snap onto targets with the game’s best weapons.

Here’s a breakdown of every setting you should run in Season 1.

Best BO7 controller settings

Inputs

To ensure you’ll be shooting with as little delay as possible, it’s worth using the Default Flipped preset to use the bumpers instead of the full trigger. There’s less travel time to press the button, so you’ll be able to pull the trigger faster.

Deadzone inputs

Reducing the dead zones on your controller means you don’t have to move the stick as much to make the game react.

Ideally, you want to min-max these values, but it can lead to stick drift. In this situation, simply raise the value gradually until the issue is resolved.

Where to find and test controller settings

To find your settings, hit the pause or start button and then head over to the Settings tab marked with a cog symbol. From there, you’ll see Controller Settings listed on the menu, underneath Graphics and above Audio.

To test your options, the best way is to head into a match, as you won’t know if it’s perfect until you try and aim targets that move realistically. However, be sure to head into the Firing Range first, as this will at least give you a feel for the sensitivity.
