Best Recon class setup
Intel is everything in Battlefield 6, and not only does the Recon class excel at long-range with precision sniping, but it also provides tons of information for your team.
You can sneak behind enemy lines, set yourself up, blow up their tanks with C4, all while live-pinging any enemy you aim at.
Best Recon weapons & gadgets in BF6
Primary Weapon: M2010 ESR (Sniper Rifle)
EAThe Recon is best with a Sniper in hand, and as such, there’s nothing better than the M2010 ESR for some bolt-action firepower.
Shots to the upper torso or head can be lethal, but even just tagging an enemy is often enough for allies to finish them off at closer range. Better yet, a clean headshot a bit later in the game means your target can’t even be revived.
Secondary Weapon: P18 Sidearm
EASeeing as you’ll be sniping for the vast majority of your time in the Recon role, the P18 Sidearm is really just a last resort. If an enemy sneaks up and gets a little too close for comfort, swap out and quickly knock them down with a few pistol shots. Plus, it’s great for when you land a close-range body shot with your sniper and need to finish the kill.
Gadget 1: Demolition Charge
EAIf you’re a particularly good sniper, it won’t be long before enemies are using vehicles to try to get to your position. Whether you’re on top of a hill or looking through a building, vehicles will try to put a stop to your mayhem.
Thankfully, that’s where Demolition Charges come in, letting you booby trap an area or even just react on the fly and explode incoming vehicles.
Gadget 2: Anti-Personnel Mine
EAIf you’ve played any FPS game before, you’ve likely felt the frustration of dying to a Claymore. It’s here in Battlefield 6, because of course, and it’s a perfect tool for the Recon class.
While you’re perched atop a vantage point, having one of these down somewhere nearby can keep enemies from sneaking right up to your position.
Throwable: Throwable Proximity Detector
EAWhile the Frag Grenade can be handy in a tight spot, you’ll get more use out of the Throwable Proximity Detector when playing the Recon class. In a split moment, launching one of these out can give you the upper hand.
It’s especially useful if enemies are growing wise to your position and approaching on foot. This can illuminate them and help you secure a few easier kills.
