Best Engineer class setup
Vehicles play a huge part in Battlefield, and the Engineer class is all about going toe-to-toe with enemy tanks and jets while keeping your own team’s alive.
The best class prioritizes taking out enemy tanks and vehicles alongside protecting your own.
Best Engineer weapons & gadgets in BF6
Primary Weapon: SGX (SMG)
EAThe best choice for the Engineer’s weapon is the SGX SMG. It’s the absolute best weapon in its class, and given the added boost to hipfire accuracy, you’ll be a menace in close-range encounters without even having to aim down sight.
Secondary Weapon: P18 (Sidearm)
EAThe P18 is the only option when it comes to Secondary Weapons in the Beta. While it’s a solid last resort when your SMG runs out of ammo, you definitely don’t want to be caught running around with the pistol equipped.
Gadget 1: Unguided Rocket Launcher
EAWe highly recommend selecting the Unguided Rocket Launcher as your main Gadget when playing as Engineer. This will keep you well-equipped to deal with any threats as they appear. In this case, the RPG7-V2 Unguided Rocket Launcher is exceptional at taking out enemy tanks.
A few quick rockets should do the trick in most instances, unless the tank is being repaired while you reload. Place your shots well, and you can even take out small clusters of enemy soldiers on foot.
Gadget 2: Anti-Vehicle Mine
EASince you can’t equip two rocket launchers, your next best bet at taking out enemy vehicles is to place some cheeky Anti-Vehicle Mines on the ground. These are absolutely devastating when used effectively.
Placed around a corner, under some debris, or even out in the open in the midst of a busy fight, enemy tanks will be blown to smithereens in an instant when they trigger these.
Throwable: Anti-Vehicle Grenade
EAThe Anti-Vehicle Grenade is a throwable designed with the Engineer class in mind. While you won’t be clearing bodies off of objectives anytime soon, these are the perfect tool for dealing with enemy vehicles.
They deal a ton of damage to armor especially, so be sure to trade them out whenever you’re loading into battle as an Engineer.
