Best audio settings to hear footsteps

Battlefield 6 matches can be ridiculously chaotic, with a lot going on at any given time. So it’s important to have the right audio settings to understand what’s happening.

There are plenty of sound cues to listen out for, whether it’s a tank off in the distance or an enemy player looking to flank you. We’ve picked out the best settings to help you make sense of the noise.

Volume

Audio settings are largely down to personal preference, but it’s best to turn the Music Volume down to 0. This cuts out any unnecessary noise, so you can focus on the sounds that will actually inform you of what’s happening in the fight.

Configuration

Again, everyone will have their own setup, but as is the case with any shooter, playing with headphones is recommended. Not only does it cancel out any background noise in the room with you, but it also makes Battlefield 6 more immersive.
