Battlefield 6 player count

Battlefield 6 was already a popular shooter, and the release of the new Redsec battle royale has only boosted its player count.

Battlefield 6 has proved the franchise is well and truly back. Players have flocked to the battle in their thousands, with even more watching the game on Twitch.

So, here’s exactly how many players are on Battlefield 6 and how it compares to those that came before and its biggest competitor, Call of Duty.

Battlefield 6 player count

According to SteamDB, the peak player count in the last 24 hours was 549,766 on Battlefield 6, as of October 29. Meanwhile, the all-time peak player count is 747,440 players, which occurred on October 10 when the game was released.

Since launch, it’s held pretty firm between 300,000 and 400,000 players on any given day, but it saw a spike on October 28 when the Redsec battle royale mode dropped.

This is purely reflective of the players on Steam, so the number is likely to be much higher than the one listed above when you take all platforms into account.

Battlefield Redsec player count

There is currently no official player count data for Redsec, as it’s bundled together with Battlefield 6. However, we can see that BF6 enjoyed a big spike when the BR launched, jumping from 320,000 players on Steam to 549,766 in a matter of hours.

Again, this number doesn’t take into account anyone on PlayStation or Xbox, and there will be plenty of players in there that are enjoying multiplayer rather than Redsec, but it’s a good indicator of its overall popularity.

Player count compared to competitors

Using data, we can analyze Battlefield 6’s performance relative to other prominent FPS titles by comparing stats from Steam DB.
