Battlefield 6 features loads of weapons that sit in eight different classes, each with unique traits and advantages. Check out the full list below.

All Classes

There are four core classes in Battlefield 6, each designed for a different playstyle. These come with signature weapons, gadgets, and traits to make them unique and ensure they have their own identity and purpose in multiplayer matches.

  • Assault: The Assault class are frontline killers, who punch through defenses to open the way for the rest of the team. Enhanced mobility, combined with the option to throw on an extra primary weapon, makes you a formidable force that can push deep behind enemy lines.

  • Engineer: Engineers are the deterrent for tanks, helicopters, and jets. Armed with a satchel filled with rockets and mines, this class is all about being a menace to enemy vehicles. They’re also the only class capable of repairing friendly vehicles, equipment, and weapon placements.

  • Recon: The sniper stalking the edge of the battlefield for the perfect headshot. The tactician pinpointing enemy positions with drones, planting C4 to cripple tanks and level buildings, or controlling a laser designator to guide your allies’ missiles to their target.

  • Support: The Support class is there to pull you out of the fire, throw down supply crates, and heal you in the fight. Support can lay down deployable cover, intercept enemy grenades and missiles, and are the masters of the LMG.
    • Signature Weapon: Light Machine Guns
    • Signature Trait: Faster Revive — Revive teammates more quickly while stationary.
    • Signature Gadget: Supply Bag — Capable of healing friendly teammates and provides ammo.

Battlefield 6 has nine launch maps, featuring a mixture of real-life locations and fictional regions. More are just around the corner as part of Season 1.

Game Summary

The return of Battlefield has been long-awaited, but finally, after four long years, EA and Battlefield Studios are back with Battlefield 6. Set across 2027-2028, you take the role of an elite squad of Marines known as Dagger 13 in the game’s campaign, fighting a powerful private military corporation across the the globe which has risen up after the fracturing of NATO.

You’re also able to take part in the franchise’s classic 64-player multiplayer modes, with four unique classes to help you take your team to victory. With nine maps and six modes at launch, there’s plenty for players to sink their teeth into.

Finally, Battlefield Portal lets you create custom game modes and UI, build unique maps and environments, and design custom multiplayer experiences complete with NPCs.
