Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has returned to streaming on Twitch after more than a year away, revealing that he has refound his love of gaming.

When Fortnite started taking over the gaming world, a number of streamers were thrust into the spotlight. You had Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Tfue at the forefront of that, with Tfue becoming one of the most popular competitive players around.

The former FaZe Clan star spun his streaming popularity into a massive following on YouTube, creating more non-gaming-focused content. With games taking a back seat, and Tfue no longer competing, his Twitch streams had become increasingly sporadic, too.

Taking lengthy breaks from Twitch became the norm, with Tfue dropping off the face of the Amazon-owned platform after November 2024, signing with Kick in that break. Now, he’s back on Twitch.

Tfue unsure how long Twitch return will last

That’s right, Tfue has finally returned to Twitch after more than a year away, revealing that he has “been enjoying” gaming once again.

“The only reason why I’m live is because I’ve been enjoying playing video games, and its like cringe to say that, but it’s true. It’s cringe because I haven’t been, you know, it’s been boring,” he said. “But, I’ve been enjoying it, so might as well go live!”

The former Fortnite competitor admitted he was “nervous” to go live, adding it’s been two-and-a-half years since he had a regular streaming schedule.

“It’s kinda crazy. That’s a long time,” he added. “Every other streamer is still live every day. Me? I just don’t give a f*ck. If I don’t enjoy streaming or playing a game, I’m just not gonna stream, I don’t care.”

It wasn’t Fortnite that he jumped into, though. Instead, Tfue returned to Twitch to play Arc Raiders, which has been the game of choice for several streamers over the last few weeks.
