Player 302 failed at the death during Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 finale, and now she’s explaining why she was “medically disqualified” from the show. Meaning SPOILERS ahead…

Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 ended with a tense game of ‘Red Light, Green Light.’

After Player 389’s shocking sacrifice, it was down to Player 017, Player 072, Player 183, and Player 302 – real name Dajah – in a winner-takes-all version of the children’s game.

Player 017 was out first, followed by Squid Game Villain Player 183, meaning it was down to two. But as Dajah pushed off to run, she injured her leg, hit the deck, and lost the final, meaning Player 072 – Perla – was ultimately victorious.

During a post-screening Q&A of the Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 finale, Player 302/Dajah revealed the extent of her injury, and where’s she is at now in terms of recovery.

“Fun fact – I had never played Red Light, Green Light, but I’m confident,” explains Dajah. “Not cocky, but I’m confident. Like ‘I got this.’ So I’m trying to take it slow, but keep up.

She then points at Perla and says: “Because that’s my biggest competition. I knew it. She and I were neck-and-neck, and I’m like ‘OK, maybe I need to get a little bit more speed, because we’re both going to be still.’

“So when I went to take off I heard a pop. It sounded like rubber or something. And I’m like ‘My god, I’m running so fast, I ran through my shoes!’ Then I’m trying to hold my position, and my body is not supporting it… I tore my Achilles Tendon!”

Dajah shows off the scar from her surgery, and adds that when she started to run, the tendon “snapped, ripped in half, it separated.”

“I’m still in recovery,” she explains. “I haven’t been to work since that. I can barely function. I’m trying to gain mobility and strength.”

But Dajah doesn’t ultimately see it as a loss, insisting: “I got medically disqualified – I’m not just going to take the ‘L’ just like that, I got medically disqualified!”
