Physical Asia is a new contest that puts world-class athletes in teams based on nationality, then pits them against each other until just one country is victorious – here’s when and where you can watch.

Physical 100 has been a huge hit for Netflix, with the concept of 100 athletes competing against each other to find the GOAT capturing the imagination of audiences worldwide, and scoring big ratings in the process.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Physical 100 were both about individual speed, strength, stamina, and endurance, with Season 3 to follow. But new spinoff show Physical Asia is a team effort, pitting sport and fitness stars from eight countries against each other in a series of challenges and quests.

  • Episode 1: ‘When the Sun Rises
    48 contestants from eight countries arrive and the teams size each other up. At last, the curtain rises on the first quest.
  • Episode 2: ‘On the Brink
    Athletes race, push and grapple atop a sinking slope. After grueling, deadlocked matches, two countries face off without making any concessions.
  • Episode 3: ‘Shipwreck
    One nation claims a powerful privilege. In their test of speed and teamwork, players race through a giant shipwreck across a rugged obstacle course.
  • Episode 4: ‘Desperate Prayer
    After a wild, intense race through the shipwreck, the next quest unfolds in a new arena – where the results from the previous match are crucial.

  • Episode 5: ‘Mysterious Village’
    Players tap into their sports skills for battle. As the third quest looms, teams prepare to pick formidable reps as each win rides on smart match-ups.
  • Episode 6: ‘Insurmountable Wall’
    Racing against time and heavy loads, teams face more than a contest — it’s a true test of endurance. Losing teams must brak their own torsos right away.

PART 3 – Now streaming

  • Episode 7: ‘For the Homeland’
    In a seemingly endless game, one contestant demonstrates extraordinary ease and skill in the hanging game. Can the other competitor win by imitation?
  • Episode 8: ‘Formidable Foe’
    No mistakes are permitted as time continues to run out. With only half the teams left, the results of an early poll return to haunt the contestants.
  • Episode 9: ‘Inescapable Hell’
    This brutal challenge demands arm strength, tenacity, speed and precision. One team catchers their competitors off guard with a surprise move.

PART 4 – Now streaming

  • Episode 10: ‘Charge’
    Shackles. Giant Pillars. Iron balls. The teams are summoned to a hellish game where mental endurance is more important than ever.
  • Episode 11: ‘Impenetrable Force’
    Teams give their all in a gruelling test of stamina and tactics. As daunting challenges push them to the limit, who will endure and make it to the end?
  • Episode 12: ‘All-Out Battle’
    As exhaustion and determination peak, the finallists enter the arena for an intense all-out battle. The victor will claim glory and a hefty cash prize.

What happens in Physical Asia?

In Physical Asia, teams of six from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia, Turkey, and Australia compete against each other in a series of contests.

According to Netflix, those challenges include: “a king of the mountain–style challenge set on an ever-shifting sand dune, a challenge of procuring precious supplies off a sinking shipwreck, and death match–style eliminations.”

It all plays out on a purpose-built set in Korea, where locations include “a half-sunken shipwreck, a centuries-old haunted Korean village, and a partial replica of Gyeongbokgung, the country’s former royal palace.”
