What time is It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7 out?

Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in It: Welcome to Derry

Pennywise’s backstory just got even more fascinating with another shock reveal, so here’s when fans can watch It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7. Warning: Spoilers ahead…

The end of Episode 5 finally delivered the clown as he hunted the soldiers and kids in the Derry sewers, but Episode 6 took the time to reveal new information about Bob Gray (Bill Skarsgard) and his daughter, Mrs. Kersh (Madeleine Stowe) in some gorgeous black, white, and red flashbacks to 1935.

Director Andy Muschietti even packed a new twist into the mythology, revealing that Mrs. Kersh actually took part in the circus with her father, and played a clown called Periwinkle. Oh yes, this show has not just one devilish clown, but two. Granted, Mrs. Kersh doesn’t have the supernatural powers that Pennywise has, but she’s no less creepy — she was the one stalking the kids in the graveyard in Episode 3.

If that wasn’t enough, Episode 6 ended on a cliffhanger as the racist townsfolk head over to The Black Spot with the intention of lynching Hank Grogan (Stephen Rider). It’s not looking good. So, here’s when you can watch It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7.

It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7 will start streaming on HBO Max at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Sunday, December 7.

Unfortunately, non-US horror TV fans will have to stay up late to watch It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7, or try to catch up first thing in the morning the next day to avoid spoilers. The finale is getting closer, which probably means Pennywise is only going to get hungrier…

But since we know the military aren’t present in Derry during the IT movies, their plan to control the killer clown from outer space is clearly not going to work.

There are eight episodes in It: Welcome to Derry Season 1, and while HBO hasn’t officially renewed it for Season 2, Muschietti previously revealed when the next season will take place.

“The second season will be in 1935. At the end of Season 1, we are hinting at the reason why we are going to tell the story in two more seasons and backwards,” he explained to Deadline.

Fans already know that the racist townsfolk burn The Black Spot down to the ground, which means It: Welcome to Derry Episode 7 could be a truly gruesome episode. If/when the show does return, Muschietti will go back to 1935 to examine the Bradley Gang massacre, another bloody event where a gang was slaughtered by the citizens of Derry in the streets.
