Disney+A new Taylor Swift documentary series, End of An Era, has premiered on Disney+, and if you want to watch it without breaking the bank, there’s an easy way to stream it for free right now.
Any Swiftie will know that the singer’s Eras Tour broke multiple records, surpassing $2 billion in ticket sales to become the highest-grossing tour of all time.
If that weren’t enough, the 2023 movie, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – which documents the Los Angeles shows – became the highest-grossing concert movie of all time, surpassing Michael Jackson’s This Is It.
As such, there’s been plenty of anticipation for the new docu-series End of An Era, which arrives on streaming services one year after the tour ended.
How to watch End of An Era free
Right now, the best way to watch the first two episodes of the Taylor Swift documentary series for free is via a bundle package from DirecTV that offers Disney+. These include the Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate, or Premier packages, all of which offer a five-day free trial.
You see, End of an Era is streaming exclusively on Disney+, with the first two episodes dropping at 12am PT on Friday, December 12, 2025. However, much like Netflix, Disney’s platform no longer offers free trials to subscribers.
So, the only watch to watch it without spending a dime is via third-party offers. To access the DirecTV trial, simply head to the packages landing page, pick whichever one suits you best, click ‘Continue’, and fill out your details.
Or, you can keep scrolling down the landing page to the ‘Start free trial’ button, which will automatically lead you to the Entertainment package. All roads lead to the same place.
You’ll need to add in your billing info, but don’t fret – you won’t be charged for those first few days. So, if you don’t want to spend any cash, don’t forget to cancel your subscription within the free trial period.

Alternatively, if you’re a Spectrum customer with a TV Select, TV Select Signature, or TV Select Plus service, you might not know that you’re eligible for a free Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundle.
To check if you’re eligible, login to your Spectrum online account, head to the TV/Streaming section, scroll to Your Streaming Apps, and you’ll see icons for the streaming platforms included with your eligible TV package. Select the arrow next to the service you’d like to activate.
