Here’s who’s on Team Japan after Physical: Asia rigging scandal

Team Japan in Physical: Asia

Physical: Asia has held Netflix subscribers in its steely grip for the last few weeks, and it got even more dramatic as Team Japan, Team Mongolia, and Team Korea made it to the last batch of episodes. Spoilers ahead.

The Physical: 100 spinoff show ultimately came down to a fight between Team Mongolia and Team Korea, as Team Japan were knocked out before the final. But when Team Korea won Physical: Asia, fans accused the competition of being “rigged” so that Korea would win, because that’s where the show is produced.

The drama only increased when Team Japan’s captain Yushin Okami had to delete a post he reshared that accused the show of being “biased.” Still, Physical: Asia has been a huge success for Netflix, and the streamer already has a number of other Physical: 100 spinoffs in development.

But here’s who’s on Team Japan in Physical: Asia.

Team Japan came in third place after being defeated by Castle Conquest

Team Japan battled their way through to the semi-final of Physical: Asia alongside Team Mongolia and Team Korea, but Quest 5 defeated them as they struggled with Castle Conquest.

The challenge required the contestants to drag a 2.2 tonne cart over different obstacles, but the drawbridge gate proved to be too difficult for Team Japan, and the entire challenge took them over an hour to complete. They were knocked out because the other Teams managed to finish in under 30 minutes.
