Lorenzo Sisti/Prime VideoWelcome back to the wasteland Vault Dwellers! The sophomore season of the video game has finally started streaming on Prime Video and its killer premiere kicked off with major references to New Vegas, a bloody new mystery, and more revelations about how the bombs were dropped. So, here’s what time Fallout Season 2 Episode 2 is out.
The show brings Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul/Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins) to New Vegas, the much-loved location from the games, as they hunt for Lucy’s father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan). The first episode even included Novac and the Dinky the Dinosaur statue, which is where players start their adventure in 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas.
From there, Fallout Season 2 weaves the nefarious Mr. House (Justin Theroux) into the story via flashbacks, which reveal he’s been experimenting on mind control technology. It’s not clear what he has planned for it, but it seems like Hank and Vault-Tec are also involved judging by the end of the premiere.
Basically, the show wastes no time at all in setting up new mysteries to keep fans hooked! So here’s what time you can watch Fallout Season 2 Episode 2.

How many episodes are there in Fallout Season 2?
There are eight episodes in Fallout Season 2, which is the same as the first season. But unlike the initial batch of episodes, the streaming service has shifted its release model from dropping the whole season at once to a weekly release. That’s the price of being popular!
But at least the Fallout hype will last for two months, instead of a quickfire binge for fans. That means that Fallout Season 2 will end on February 4, 2026. Don’t worry, the show has already been renewed for Season 3, with Todd Howard telling Dexerto that the third chapter will change things up from the games in a big way.
Creator Jonathan Nolan also teased what to expect, telling IGN, “In regards to Season 3, we are hoping to be shooting again next summer. Our incredibly talented cast and crew were able to work quickly enough to get back on the air in a reasonable amount of time.”
