DEXERTOThe Pokemon Go Max Out season introduced a slew of new Pokemon pulled from Sword & Shield, as well as the Galar region’s biggest features: Dynamax and Gigantamax.
Arriving as part of Pokemon Go’s Go Big and Go Bigger events, the exciting Max Battles turn your Pokemon into massive creatures. However, only certain ones can Dynamax or Gigantamax.

Niantic keeps adding Dynamax and Gigantamax to Pokemon Go. So, to keep you up to speed, here are the current Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon you’ll find in Max Battles during December 2025.
Note: The Pokemon marked with an ‘*’ can be encountered as Shiny.

Gigantamax Pokemon
NIANTICFrom time to time, Niantic adds new Gigantamax Pokemon to the game through special events, and while there are no debuts planned for December as of yet, Gigantamax Snorlax will be back for a special Max Battle Day on December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
