A new GTA 6 gameplay leak is going viral and even has some fans convinced it’s real.

Rockstar’s long-awaited GTA 6 is finally set to release on November 19, 2026 after being delayed from its previous May launch date.

Reports indicate that GTA 6 is essentially “complete” and Rockstar is using extra time to ensure VI is bug-free and doesn’t release in a glitchy state like Cyberpunk 2077.

As fans’ anticipation grows, there have been countless rumors and theories about GTA 6 popping up on social media and while many are bogus, a new gameplay leak has been making rounds.

New GTA 6 “leak” is just a hoax

Gameplay leaks of GTA 6 aren’t unheard of. In addition to the infamous leaked footage shared by a hacker back in 2022 and one year later, videos sourced from dev’s son made their way online.

On November 25, video emerged showing one of the main protagonists, Lucia, walking through a realistic, rainy Vice City.

In the clip, which has amassed over 3M views, Lucia is animated to scoot past a bench while NPCs walk by with umbrellas and jogger runs out of the storm.

Another supposed leak, also shared by ‘zapactugta6’ on X, shows a character, potentially Jason, waking past a group having a picnic on the grass.

Zapactugta6 shared several other videos on their account, each containing what they claim to be leaked GTA 6 footage.

While these videos have received millions of views, none are real. In fact, they’re likely generated using AI software such as Veo 3.

As some fans commented on how they expected more given GTA 6’s development time, others called out the account for posting fake videos.
