Genshin Impact players can earn free rewards by taking Duolingo lessons

Genshin Impact has teamed up with Duolingo in a new crossover that lets players grab a bunch of in-game freebies.

Genshin Impact is certainly not one to shy away from collabs. We’ve seen Hoyoverse’s gacha game feature its characters and goods with brands like Cold Stone, McDonald’s, and even the viral game Among Us throughout the years.

Now they’re back with yet another crossover, this time with Duolingo. Yes, the language-learning app with the iconic green owl.

This collab event runs from December 8, 2025, until December 27, 2025, and players will be able to get free cosmetic rewards by participating.

How to do the Genshin Impact quest in Duolingo

Before you get any ideas, no, you won’t be learning the Hilichurls’ language. Instead, there’s a special Genshin Impact quest waiting for you in the Duolingo app, with Paimon, Tighnari, and Cyno being the main highlights of this crossover.

To get the free rewards in your Genshin account, you’ll need to install Duolingo and complete one unit lesson daily for three consecutive days.

As long as you tap “Join the quest” to opt in to the “Genshin Impact Quest” option on your screen, your progress toward that three-day streak will automatically be tracked. To check your progress, you can also head to the quest tab.

Once that’s completed, you’ll be able to receive a code after your lesson. This code can then be redeemed through the Genshin Impact code website. All you have to do is just copy that code and paste it in there and select Redeem.

When you next log in to Genshin Impact, you’ll find your rewards in the mailbox, which include:

  • ×1 Avatar “Diligent Study”
  • ×1 Namecard “Celebration: Dream Reader”
  • ×1 Recipe “Spiced Fried Chicken”
  •  ×1 Food “Spiced Fried Chicken”
  • ×60 Primogem
  • ×4 Mystic Enhancement Ore
  • ×2 Hero’s Wit

These will stay in your mailbox for 30 days, so just make sure you remember to claim them.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you want to take part, make sure to join the quest before December 25, 2025, at 11:59:59 pm (UTC) so you have plenty of time to complete it.

Also, you’ll need to keep your streak going by completing lessons every day. Streak Freezes, the item that protects your existing streak, won’t count toward the three-day quest.

They won’t help if your streak breaks, either. So, no shortcuts here.
