Silent Hill f has found major success at The Horror Game Awards 2025, where it took home Game of the Year and claimed three other titles.

Silent Hill f’s story of womanhood and disturbing enemies quickly made it one of the most talked-about horror games of the year. It even landed on Dexerto’s best games of the year list, alongside Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, and Arc Raiders.

While NeoBards’ survival horror title missed out on securing any wins at this year’s Game Awards, it has dominated The Horror Game Awards 2025, picking up four wins from six nominations. It took home Game of the Year, Best Narrative, Technical Achievement, and Best Performance for Konatsu Kato, beating out titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, Dying Light: The Beast, MiSide, and R.E.P.O.

Silent Hill f wins big at The Horror Game Awards 2025

On December 14, Silent Hill f’s developers, NeoBards Entertainment, took to X to thank the horror community for its clean sweep: “Thanks to the incredible support of horror fans worldwide, SILENT HILL f has swept The Horror Game Awards 2025 with FOUR major wins, including Game of the Year,” said the devs.

“These awards are more than just a nod to our team’s hard work, they are a testament to your passion for horror. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone who voted!”

Lead scriptwriter Ryukishi07 also shared a message following the ceremony, saying: “This award is thanks to all of you! Thank you so much!!”

Much of Silent Hill f’s momentum has been driven by Konatsu Kato, the lead actress behind the game’s protagonist Hinako. Kato has described the role as the hardest of her career, previously stating the psychological toll of playing Hinako left her feeling like her sanity was almost slipping.

Despite this, Kato and her fellow supporting actors are currently playing through the game, much to the delight of series fans.
