The Switch 2 is quickly gaining momentum, with a wave of fresh titles on the horizon for Nintendo’s portable powerhouse and plenty of beloved classics making their long-awaited return.

Since the console’s launch, Nintendo has announced a gigantic list of games that will be available in the upcoming months and beyond. While the original reveal only confirmed a new Mario Kart, following the Direct, Partner Showcase, and other announcements, we now know exactly what’s coming.

Here’s an up-to-date list of all the confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 games, as of November 2025.

Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games

Below are all of the new first-party games so far confirmed exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2:

Kirby Air Riders – November 20, 2025

Kirby Air Raiders is the next chapter in the adventures of Nintendo’s lovable pink blob. This time, Kirby and the crew will be jetting off into the stratosphere in an aerial adventure that’s by far the most ambitious Kirby game to date. It’ll also be a launch game and a Switch 2 exclusive.

Mario Tennis Fever – February 12, 2026

Mario Tennis Fever serves up Mario’s Switch 2 debut on February 12, 2026, with refined gameplay and the new Fever Racket system for explosive, match-changing power shots.

Each one of the 30 rackets offers unique effects, from icy courts to shrinking foes, adding fresh strategy and flair to Camelot’s signature tennis action.

Featuring a baby-themed story mode, new challenges, and 38 playable characters, Fever is Mario’s most ambitious sports game yet.

Pokemon Pokopia – March 5, 2026

Pokemon Pokopia arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, letting players rebuild an island as a Ditto that’s taken human form. The goal is to create a Pokemon paradise through friendship, exploration, and creativity in a world that blends Animal Crossing’s cozy life-sim charm with Minecraft’s crafting flair.

By learning Pokemon moves like Leafage or Water Gun, you can shape the world, grow crops, and build homes to expand your community.

Splatoon Raiders – TBD

Expected in the second half of 2025, Splatoon Raiders is the franchise’s first spin-off exclusive to the Switch 2.

Set on the newly discovered Spirhalite Islands, players team up as the Deep Cut trio to tackle ink-based raids and environmental puzzles across open, dynamic terrain.

With fresh gameplay loops that expand Splatoon’s colorful combat system, Raiders delivers fan-favorite ink action with a new twist, all powered by the new hardware for larger maps and smoother multiplayer.

The Duskbloods – 2026

Projected for 2026, The Duskbloods is Nintendo’s first true PvPvE multiplayer title, developed in partnership with FromSoftware.

Expect gothic environments, vampire-themed factions, and the dark-minded finesse of Miyazaki’s team translated into an online-only rivalry of ancient predators.

This title pushes the boundaries of what’s expected from first-party Nintendo, threading atmospheric storytelling into competitive gameplay.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book – 2026

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a new platformer coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026. In it, Yoshi teams up with a living encyclopedia named Mr. E, whose pages conceal mysterious worlds and creatures Yoshi must help investigate.

Gameplay weaves classic Yoshi platforming – jumps, tongue use, eggs – with creature-riding mechanics: certain critters ride Yoshi’s back and grant new abilities or open paths, giving the game a new and fun twist.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – 2026

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave launches on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, centering on the Heroic Games, a deadly tournament where warriors fight for a wish granted by a Divine Sovereign.

Players follow heroes like Cai, Theodora, and Leda through branching storylines, with tactical combat featuring new classes and Blaze Arts – skills that trade HP for power.

Blending echoes of Three Houses with fresh mechanics and lore, Fortune’s Weave aims to redefine Fire Emblem’s strategy roots for the Switch 2 era.

Mario Kart World – June 5, 2025

Launched as the Switch 2’s flagship title, Mario Kart World ushers in a bold new era for the series. With a sprawling open-world Free Roam mode, 24-player racing across shifting weather and day‑night cycles, and reimagined classic tracks alongside new terrain, Nintendo doubles down on formula innovation rather than mere iteration.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour – June 5, 2025

The Switch 2 Welcome Tour is a paid set of minigames, all designed to help players familiarize themselves with the new console and its features.

The game has been compared to Wii Sports in many ways; however, the Switch 2 Welcome Tour won’t be bundled with the console unless players are prepared to pay extra for it.

Fast Fusion – June 5, 2025

Fast Fusion catapults players into a high-octane, antigravity hover-craft racing world where speed is king and every edge counts.

Developed by Shin’en Multimedia, Fast Fusion introduces a “Vehicle Fusion” system that lets you combine machines to craft new hybrids with their own stats and looks, and a “Super Hero Mode” that links your boost meter with your health for hardcore risk-vs-reward runs.

Survival Kids – June 5, 2025

The latest Survival Kids drops you and up to three friends onto the backs of giant, wandering turtle-islands, where you’ll collect, craft, and climb your way from castaway to “ready to sail” in a co-op survival-lite adventure.

Instead of punishing hunger or permadeath, you’ll build nets, bridges, and rafts, gather food to boost stamina, and work together to tackle playful physics puzzles.

Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster – June 26, 2025

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster brings the beloved JRPG back to life on Nintendo Switch 2, following four heroes on a quest to awaken the elemental crystals and save Luxendarc from encroaching darkness.

Donkey Kong Bananza – July 17, 2025

Drag X Drive – August 14, 2025

Drag x Drive is unlike anything in Nintendo’s catalog: a wheelchair basketball arcade title with a slick sci-fi twist built around the Switch 2’s motion-sensitive Joy‑Con mouse controls.

Players will be able to compete against other players and AI opponents using their powered-up chairs, performing trick shots and other maneuvers that would make even an NBA player jealous.

This 3v3 sports game introduces fresh accessibility-driven gameplay and helps showcase the system’s precision input capabilities while bringing a new genre to Nintendo’s exclusive lineup.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment – November 6, 2025

Similar to Age of Calamity, the latest Hyrule Warriors game combines Dynasty Warriors action with the setting of Zelda.

This time, the game uses Tears of the Kingdom as a backdrop, transporting players to the ancient Zonai wars, serving as a sequel to the game’s events and letting players control some new characters and armies for the first time.

This Musou-style prequel lets gamers fight massive hordes, unleash giant elemental abilities, and witness the legendary conflict that forged Hyrule’s ancient power.

Switch 2 Enhanced Games

Nintendo Switch 2 will enhance several existing Switch games with its 4K and HDR settings. Some games will be given an upgrade pack, which players can buy as DLC to upgrade their favourites on Switch 2.

So far, the following games can be enhanced with a paid edition:

• Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
• Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
• Kirby and the Forgotten Land
• Pokemon: Legends Z-A
• Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Some other games like Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, ARMS, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Echoes of Wisdom, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and a few more got free updates for the Nintendo Switch 2.

It’s worth noting that in addition to the above, Switch 2 is backward compatible with games released for its predecessor, so most of your existing games will also play on the new system, whether you bought them physically or digitally.

Rumored games

Leaks and rumors have suggested some other first and third-party games that could be on the system at some point.

For now, do take these inclusions with a pinch of salt, but it’s strongly implied that many of the following could make their way over to the Switch 2:

On January 20, 2025, just four days after the console was announced, it was leaked that Diablo 4 could be coming to the Switch 2 before the year was up. “According to what I’ve been told, Diablo 4 is already in the works for Nintendo Switch 2, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Diablo 4 were released in 2025 on Switch 2,” revealed famed leaker, eXtas1s.

Blizzard Entertainment

The leaker also claimed that we’ll be seeing the likes of Fallout 4, Starfield, Flight Simulator, Halo, and Call of Duty. However, these were purely speculative and should be treated as such. Thanks to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, we know CoD is set to come to Nintendo Platforms for the next ten years. Given the next one is likely to be released in October, it makes sense to see it coming to the Switch 2.

Beyond that, a few other smaller indie titles have claimed to be in the works for the Switch 2. For instance, Bestiario, a Persona-inspired RPG, has assured backers on Kickstarter that copies of the game will be available on the Switch successor. Meanwhile, Synth Beasts, an adventure title, included Switch 2 in its trailer’s title, implying that a release there is inevitable.

Adding fuel to the speculative fire, insiders claim Microsoft is ready to bring just about all of its games over to the Switch 2, at some stage. This could open the door for not just future releases, but also to get plenty of Xbox classics over to the Nintendo system.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer doubled down on this idea in a January 25 appearance on Gamertag Radio, implying that Xbox looks forward to supporting the Nintendo Switch 2 with its own games. While no titles were explicitly named, Spencer teased a budding relationship with Nintendo and implied that nothing is off limits.
