Monster Girl and Robot are bustin’ through to join Invincible VS’s growing character roster

Invincible VS continues to usher in a slew of new characters as the highly-anticipated fighting game nears its 2026 launch date, with Robot and Monster Girl being the latest to join the fray.

Invincible VS takes the award-winning comic-turned-show’s super-powered cast of characters and puts them into players’ hands in a fast-paced, 3v3 tag fighting game experience.

Developers previously said the title will boast a starting roster of 15-20 characters, and by the looks of things, we’re nearly halfway there.

Cecil Stedman was the most recently revealed fighter, bringing with him a refreshing zoning kit and tons of mixup options into the fray — but brawlers are coming back in a big way with these next two heroes.

Monster Girl & Robot face off with armored moves and laser cannons

Just in time for the Halloween season, Quarter Up is showing off Invincible VS’s next two fighters: Monster Girl and Robot.

Monster Girl is a big-body powerhouse whose brute strength lets her pummel opponents to bits… literally. She leans toward being more of a rushdown character, with a knee drop overhead attack and an armored running move that lets her mow down any enemies in her way.

In the show, she gets younger every time she transforms, but it’s currently unclear if this translates to the game in any way. That being said, a press release from Invincible VS claims that “just when her enemies think they’re reaching victory, Monster Girl’s relentless nature allows her to come back even stronger.”

If you’re familiar with the Quarter Up dev’s previous work on Killer Instinct, Robot might look a bit similar to Fulgore. He’s mostly a rushdown character, but also comes equipped with effective zoning options like rockets and cannons that deal big damage from a reasonable distance, not to mention a laser that pushes attackers back. He’s a fairly balanced and versatile fighter that will be a good option to round out players’ teams.
