Adhoc Studio’s art director has confirmed that Dispatch’s demon villain Malevola wasn’t just shaped by ‘90s pop culture. Her body was directly modeled after fitness influencer LeanBeefPatty.

Speaking to IGN, Derek Stratton explained that Malevola’s muscular build came from the creator, describing her as having the body type of LeanBeefPatty.

Stratton also broke down how Malevola’s overall look came from a different source. He pointed to Cindy Crawford’s 1992 Pepsi commercial, which features the supermodel in a white top and denim shorts stepping out of a red Lamborghini. The ad became one of Pepsi’s most recognizable campaigns and cemented its place in early ‘90s pop culture.

According to Stratton, Malevola’s visual identity blends that commercial’s styling with the character’s demon motif. He described her as Cindy Crawford from that ad combined with a hot rod demon aesthetic, then layered with LeanBeefPatty’s physique.
