Clash Royale’s Arena 7 can seem tough to beat. However, the best decks for Royale Arena will help you get through this level with a breeze.

By the time you get to Arena 7, also known as the Royal Arena in Clash Royale, you’ll likely stumble upon more experienced enemies who already have a solid grasp of the game.

Most of the time, not only do they already understand basic counter-pushes and elixir management, but their deck synergies will also be a lot better. Hence, it can be challenging to push through this level, especially if you’re unsure what kind of deck you should run.

You might win a few matches, but then bounce back to where you started. If you want to be able to jump to the next level quickly, we’ve compiled the best decks for Arena 7 you can use below.

Best Arena 7 decks

Arena 7 introduces some powerful cards like Royal Giant, Prince, and Balloon, among others, so you’ll start seeing more variety in decks.

The best part? With more cards unlocked, you’ve got way more options to experiment with compared to the early Arenas. Below, you’ll find three solid builds, each designed to suit a different playstyle.

Hog-Valkyrie-Arrows deck

This deck offers solid offense and defense in Arena 7.

Deck composition:

  • Valkyrie
  • Hog Rider
  • Skeleton Army
  • Inferno Tower
  • Archers
  • Mega Minion
  • Goblin Barrel
  • Zap

With only an average cost of 3.5 Elixir, this fast cycle, control, and chip deck lets you utilize the Hog Rider and Goblin Barrel as dual win conditions. The main idea of this deck is to apply constant pressure by chipping away at your enemy’s towers instead of aiming for one massive push.

As the primary win condition, the Hog Rider acts as your main tower damage dealer, with Valkyrie or Zap being used to support it. Meanwhile, Goblin Barrel is used interchangeably if your Hog gets countered. So, if one gets shut down, you still have the other to chip away at the damage.

When it comes to defense, you’ll want to save the Inferno Tower to lure huge tanks. Then, depending on what the enemy is running, have your Archers or Mega Minion deal with air troops, or place the Skeleton Army as an emergency defense.

Just remember to defend cheaply, then use Hog or Barrel to counterpush. As long as you play your cards right, you should have their towers down in no time.

Balloon control deck

Using a Balloon deck is a solid strategy in this level.

Deck composition:

  • Balloon
  • Prince
  • Valkyrie
  • Musketeer
  • Minions
  • Zap
  • Goblins
  • Bomb Tower

If you’re playing Arena 7, you’ve got to have at least one Balloon deck in your rotation. This one averages 3.7 Elixir, so it’s easy to defend, bait, and push efficiently.

The Balloon is your main win condition, and the rest of your cards are there to back it up and keep your defense solid. Prince and Valkyrie are great for tanking on the ground, so your Balloon can actually get to the tower.

For extra support, Musketeer and Minions cover both air and ground threats, while Bomb Tower anchors your defense against bigger pushes.

If your opponent plays swarms, Zap takes care of them quickly. You can also throw down Goblins to bait out their spells. Once their counters are gone, your other troops and Balloon can do some serious damage.

What is the best deck in Arena 7 in Clash Royale?

With almost no counters, this deck is really safe and effective to use.

Deck composition:

  • Royal Giant
  • Mini PEKKA
  • Inferno Tower
  • Wizard
  • Goblin Gang
  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Zap
  • Poison

This deck’s a bit on the expensive side, averaging 3.9 Elixir, but it’s super solid and really easy to work with. Everything here just fits together nicely. You’ve got strong defense, support, spells, and ways to bait out your opponent’s counters, which makes it great for climbing in Arena 7.

The main combo is Royal Giant and Poison. RG chips away at the tower while Poison clears any troops trying to block him, so he gets more shots in.

When it comes to defense, Inferno Tower handles the big tanks, while Mini PEKKA and Wizard take care of swarms and support troops.

You can also use Goblin Gang to bait out your opponent’s spell, and then drop Barbarian Barrel to clean up anything left, setting up a nice counterpush with RG. And if you need a quick reset, Zap stuns troops, clears small swarms, and helps your RG stay alive for a few extra hits.

There aren’t really many hard counters to this deck. It mostly comes down to timing and elixir management, so if you play smart, you’ll get a lot of value out of it.
