supercellClash Royale’s Arena 12, Spooky Town, can be tough to beat since there are so many experienced players. That’s why you need to use the best decks to help you out.
Arena 12 may not be the toughest stage in Clash Royale, but it definitely has one of the biggest difficulty spikes. This is when you’ll start running into real, annoying meta decks that are much harder to deal with compared to the random ones in earlier Arenas.
As you may have already noticed, simple pushes don’t break through as easily here. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get out of Spooky Town, though.
You can still win by using decks with good synergy and balanced Elixir, and we’ve provided some of the best options below.
Best Arena 12 decks
PEKKA Bridge Spam, Lava Hound Balloon, and Hog EQ are some of the best decks to climb with right now. They all play pretty differently, so you can just go with whatever matches your style the most.
PEKKA Bridge Spam deck
supercellDeck composition:
- PEKKA
- Battle Ram
- Royal Ghost
- Electro Wizard
- Fireball
- Zap
- Dark Prince
- Baby Dragon
This is a bridge spam deck that’s really fun to play because it’s great on both defense and offense. It’s a little on the pricey side at 4.0 Elixir on average, but the payoff is huge.
You basically can keep sending troops at the bridge in waves, chipping away at towers, and keeping your opponent under constant pressure.
The main strategy here is to spam cheap or medium units while you use the P.E.K.K.A to tank. Once the P.E.K.K.A is deployed, you’ll then support it with Battle Ram, Royal Ghost, Dark Prince, or the Baby Dragon, all of which cover a wide range of attacks.

On the other hand, you can also use the Electro Wizard to help with defending since he provides crowd control. If that’s not enough, you can always finish the enemy’s troops with Fireball or Zap for a quick sweep.
Just remember that the idea of this deck isn’t to push full-on with all your cards, but to keep constant pressure so they can’t build a big push.
Lava Hound Balloon deck
supercellDeck composition:
- Lava Hound
- Balloon
- Mega Minion
- Minions
- Tombstone
- Fireball
- Arrows
- Barbarian Barrel
LavaLoon is a strategy that just works. It’s super popular because it can catch opponents off guard if they don’t have the right counters.. With an average cost of 3.7 Elixir, you can’t really go wrong with this Lava Hound and Balloon deck.
Your main combo here is the Lava Hound and Balloon. While the Lava Hound soaks up damage, the Balloon hits the tower hard. Then you drop Mega Minion and Minions for air support and to help with defending.
No need to worry about defense, either. You’ve got Tombstone that’s great for distracting tanks. Throw in Barbarian Barrel, and you should be able to deal with swarms easily.
Additionally, you can rely on spells like Fireball and Arrows to clean up annoying troops like the Guards and Skeleton Army.
The best part of LavaLoon is that it is expensive to counter, so unless your opponent’s deck is built to stop it, they’ll often waste Elixir trying to defend your pushes.
What is the best Arena 12 deck in Clash Royale?
supercellDeck composition:
- Hog Rider
- Knight
- Firecracker
- Tesla
- Skeletons
- Ice Spirit
- Log
- Earthquake
This Hog EQ cycle deck is the best one to use in Arena 12. A lot of players in Spooky Town tend to use defensive buildings, and that’s why this deck is just so perfect. With only an average of 2.6 Elixir, it’s versatile, fast, easy to use, and strong in both offense and defense.
When playing with this deck, you’ll want to drop the Hog Rider at the bridge to start the push. Then, cast Earthquake on or near the enemy’s defensive building that’s protecting their tower. This way, the Hog can reach the tower with minimum distractions, landing more hits.
To make things easier, you can buy him some more time by dropping Ice Spirit in front to freeze troops or tower for a few seconds, or drop the Firecracker for cheap backup. You can also use Skeletons and The Log to deal with troops targeting the Hog Rider.
When it comes to defending, Tesla and Knight got you covered for both air and ground troops. While this deck is pretty straightforward, the only thing you need to keep in mind is the timing.
You need to know when to cycle the Hog Rider and when to defend.
