When is the next season of Fortnite?

Battle Bus in Fortnite

The next season of Fortnite will be another one of the game’s many collabs, and while it’ll still be some time before the current season ends, we’ve already got details on dates for the upcoming Chapter.

Fortnite has plenty of ways to keep the island exciting, but one of the biggest is its different seasons, with each bringing a fresh theme, Battle Pass, and new weapons to shake things up.

Epic is constantly dropping updates to add more content, so once you’ve run out of things to do or weekly quests to complete, you might be wondering when the next season will release and what it has to offer.

Fortnite’s Chapter 7, Season 2 is set to arrive on March 4, 2026.

Season 1 just kicked off, so that date’s still pretty far out. Players have around three months to finish quests and unlock all the cosmetics in their Battle Pass before the season switches over.

As usual, when the next season arrives, we can expect new skins, weapons, and collabs, along with plenty of other exciting additions. It’s also safe to expect some kind of live event that bridges the story into the next season.

Epic tends to stay quiet until we get closer to release. Even so, dataminers usually come through with leaks and early hints about what might be added.

These should definitely be taken with a grain of salt until there’s official confirmation, but they do help paint a clearer picture of what to expect.

For now, details about Chapter 7, Season 2 are pretty limited, but once more information comes out, we’ll update this section right away.
