Next Fortnite update
No date is confirmed just yet, but leaks suggest that Fortnite’s next update celebrating Winterfest will arrive on December 18, 2025.
One of the biggest rumored additions is a Hatsune Miku skin rocking a festive winter outfit, a Harry Potter collab, and a CourageJD “Louis Dog” Sidekick.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 update schedule
Much like the previous season, Chapter 7 Season 1 will be structured in several major updates. We’ve compiled all the update schedule dates to help you keep tabs on when to expect new content to arrive:
- December 1 – v39.00

When does Chapter 7 Season 1 end?
Chapter 7, Season 1: Pacific Break will end on March 4, 2026. Unlike the previous Simpsons-themed mini season, Pacific Break will last for around three months. This is pretty standard length for normal Fortnite seasons.
Epic usually keeps things under wraps until the final two weeks of a season, when official teasers for the upcoming season gradually get revealed. For now, though, rest assured you have time until then to complete all missions and unlock rewards from the Battle Pass until then.
Epic does release minor hotfixes between their patches to add game files to the API. We’ll keep you updated right here in case the update dates change and when any future patches are revealed.
