EpicQuentin Tarantino is prepared to drop a long lost Kill Bill chapter inside Fortnite.
Fortnite’s collaborations have continued to draw in heavyweight names to the game. The Simpsons season only pushed Chapter 7 excitement much higher. Beatrix Kiddo then appeared in a finale teaser that shifted fan theories overnight. Players picked apart posters and clues appearing across social media until Kill Bill quotes resurfaced, while dataminers circled every new asset.
The community expected a regular crossover but nothing pointed to something this ambitious: a missing Tarantino story returning after two decades in Fortnite.
Tarantino brings a lost Kill Bill chapter to Fortnite
Epic announced the project with a stylized poster titled The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge. The reveal confirmed a short that Tarantino wrote in 2003 that focused on Yuki Yubari seeking revenge for her sister Gogo’s death at the House of Blue Leaves.
The scene never reached production due to pacing concerns and the length of the original films, but now Fortnite rebuilt the entire chapter using Unreal Engine and in-game character models. Uma Thurman will star in the short, which premieres inside Fortnite on November 30 at 2pm ET.
As with most live events in Fortnite, players will find the new content in the top row of Discover and doors for the viewing experience open thirty minutes earlier.
The collaboration created a fitting space for a story that never had a physical set. Filming it now would require rebuilding a world that no longer exists and animation solved every barrier.
Fortnite also is set to deliver a scale that few theatrical rereleases could match: millions of players will watch Yuki’s story unfold together.
