Warner Bros.The Wizarding World is coming to Fortnite, as Epic Games have officially confirmed a Harry Potter crossover, including skins that let you choose your favourite house.
Winterfest is Fortnite‘s yearly festive event, and the 2025 version is set to be one of the biggest yet. As always, there will be daily presents to open, as well as a cosy cabin to visit every day to open free rewards.
But in the lead-up, leaks have been hinting at some major crossovers, and the devs have now confirmed that one of the biggest franchises that has criminally never appeared in the game is finally on the way — Harry Potter.
Harry Potter skins coming to Fortnite this month
During The Game Awards 2025, Epic Games announced a free Chocolate Frog Back Bling to celebrate Hogwarts Legacy being free on the Epic Games Store. They follow this with an X post confirming “customizable Hogwarts house-themed Outfits.”
This means you’ll be able to pick which of Hogwarts’ four houses you align with, whether it’s classics like Hogwarts or Slytherin, or something more obscure like Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. A release date wasn’t mentioned, but they’re coming “later this month.”
After this post, leaker HYPEX posted our first real look at the skin. Rather than a specific character like Harry or Hermione, it appears the outfits will depict generic Hogwarts students, giving fans the chance to change the logo and colour of their robe, scarf, and jumper.
This isn’t all that’s in-store for the Harry Potter collaboration, either. Dataminers have also found that a Broom Mythic will be added during the event, allowing you to fly around the map like a prime Quidditch player.
