Colonel Sanders goes Super Saiyan with new KFC Dragon Ball Z menu

KFC just dropped its most anime-charged collab yet, and yes, it includes edible Dragon Balls.

KFC Italy has teamed up with Dragon Ball Z for a limited menu packed with fried chicken, teriyaki twists, and a set of seven cheese balls modeled after the iconic wish-granting orbs.

The reveal even featured Claudio Moneta, the official Italian voice of Goku, belting out a Kamehameha-style yell as the new meals flashed across the screen.

KFC leaned all the way in on the theme, posting “Saiyans like our fried chicken too” on Instagram as fans flooded the comments.

The lineup includes a DBZ-branded with Goku and Vegeta bucket, plus teriyaki and spicy-teriyaki chicken burgers. The breakout item is the cheese ball set that mirrors the seven Dragon Balls, complete with the glowing orange look that defined the series.

On its website, KFC calls the Sando Teriyaki Burger a “Super Saiyan experience,” promising an intense flavor profile for anyone willing to power up their order.

KFC x DBZ caps off a wild 2025

For KFC, this caps off a chaotic and extremely online year of collabs and experiments. The chain partnered with Gundam Wing for a Mobile Suit bucket.

It rolled out fried chicken–flavored toothpaste which sold out near instantly, and a wild gravy gelato.

KFC even linked with London fashion house Aries for a high-end “Gravy Drip” streetwear line.

With 2025 winding down, fans are already wondering what levels KFC plans to ascend to in 2026. If this year is any indication, the Colonel has no intention of stopping at Super Saiyan.
