“Guest from hell” leaves hotel room a disgusting mess after two-year gaming marathon

The shocking find was made after the man finally checked out of a hotel in Changchun after over two years, where staff say he spent nearly all of his time gaming inside the room.
Video footage shared online shows the space buried under thousands of dirty food wrappers, empty drink bottles, and takeaway containers, with trash piled up to three feet deep in some areas.
The bathroom was in even worse condition. A mountain of toilet paper stood higher than the toilet itself, which was left in extremely poor shape. A table and two gaming chairs were almost completely swallowed by the waste.
According to The Sun, the hotel specializes in long stays for esports players, offering private rooms equipped with high-end gaming PCs, fast internet, and dedicated gaming chairs.
Gamer goes viral for leaving hotel room in stomach-churning state
Hotel employees said the man was rarely seen during his stay. Some workers reportedly did not even know what he looked like, as he almost never left the room. Staff described him as a “hardcore gamer” who had booked the room for what became an extremely long gaming session.
The full scale of the damage was only revealed after he left. Cleaning crews then spent three days clearing trash and disinfecting the room.
Staff claim the guest still owes more than 10 days in unpaid fees, totaling roughly $400 USD. Hotel management said the matter has not been reported to the police, and they currently do not plan to pursue further action.
Footage of the trashed room has since gone viral on social media, with many users comparing it to Twitch star Asmongold, whose streaming setup and home have long been infamous for their lack of cleanliness.
