Disney Dreamlight Valley Wishblossom Ranch expansion release date & new characters

Wishblossom Ranch ddv

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch expansion’s release date and features have finally been announced following the success of A Rift in Time and Storybook Vale.

There may be tons to do in the base game of Disney Dreamlight Valley thanks to the countless updates bringing new characters, recipes, and adventures, but there’s nothing quite like a good expansion, especially when it brings in a ton of new features.

Well, following on from Storybook Vale, we finally have Wishblossom Ranch. Thanks to the recent Showcase, we officially have a release date and more details on what’s coming. So, to keep you up to speed, here’s all you need to know.

Does Wishblossom Ranch have a release date?

Thanks to the Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase stream, we know that Wishblossom Ranch will be arriving on November 19.

Just like every other update that’s come to DDV, it’ll be released at 2 pm BST, 9 am ET, 6 am PT.

New characters

One of the primary new elements coming to Wishblossom Ranch is the arrival of four new characters:

  • Disney Dreamlight Valley new characters
1 of 5
  • Snow White
  • Tinker Bell
  • Tigger
  • Cruella de Vill

We know all four of these will be introduced in each of the three biomes players can explore, and will have their own storylines and friendship quests, just like the other characters introduced in previous expansions, like Jafar, Merida, and Flynn Rider.

As explained in the Showcase, Cruella will be the primary villain, and Snow White and Tinkerbell will guide you to help restore the Ranch and defeat her. The others seem to be found in the game’s new biomes.

Biomes

There are three new biomes in Wishblossom Ranch:

  • Disney Dreamlight Valley Wishing Alps
1 of 3
  • Wishing Alps
  • Glammer Gulch
  • Pixie Acres

During the showcase, it was highly teased that Tigger would be found in the Pixie Acres, Cruella would be in Glamour Gulch, and Snow White and Tinkerbell would be in the Wishing Alps.

Animals

Three new animals are also coming to the Ranch, each having their own individual biomes:

  • Disney Dreamlight Valley Goose
1 of 3
  • Geese: Wishing Alps
  • Skunks: Glammer Gulch
  • Bees: Pizie Acre

These will work in the same way as previous animals, with a favorite food and the ability to level up their companionship as you go.

Horses

It wouldn’t be a ranch without horses, and this is among the biggest additions to the expansion. As part of Wishblossom Ranch, players can expect to see various horse mounts made available, including the following famous Disney horses:

  • Disney Dreamlight Valley Maximus
1 of 4
  • Maximus (Tangled)
  • Kahn (Mulan)
  • Pegasus (Hercules)
  • Sven (Frozen) with the Deluxe Edition

The first three, Maximus, Khan, and Pegasus, all have their own abilities for you to unlock as you increase their friendship.

  • Maximus: Long jump
  • Khan: Kick down doors
  • Pegasus: Ride wind tunnels and fly

Each will be used throughout the game’s main story. You can level up their friendship by feeding them daily, brushing them, riding them, and, of course, petting them. They can also help you clean up the village and perform your own daily activities like gardening, mining, trampling Night Thorns, and speeding along the valley by walking, trotting, or galloping.

What’s more, if you’re galloping, you can jump over fences, so exploring your Valley has never been easier.

It’s not just those three that you can ride and perform the above activities with. You can fully customize your own horse and fill a stable with different presets. Turn one into a Zebra, match it to your outfit, or just create your favorite Disney horse – it’s completely up to you.

Blueprints

For those builders out there, players can finally use modular building kits, which snap to other buildings to create longer ranches, designs, and pretty much whatever layout you find.

You’ll be tasked with locating certain run-down buildings and fixing them up. Once you do, you’ll have unlocked the blueprint and be able to use it in your Valley or wherever you desire.

As you explore, look for these run-down buildings and unlock brand new furniture and items for all your decorating needs.

Single act

Finally, players don’t need to worry about only seeing half of the story like we did in Storybook Vale and A Rift in Time. This time, Wishblossom Ranch is a single act, so you can experience the entire story in one go, without waiting for the next update.

Trailer & Showcase

The majority of Wishblossom Ranch was revealed on October 15 during the 2025 Showcase. It showed off all you need to know, and a few details on the upcoming free updates.

The only trailer released was on September 3 in the form of the expansion announcement premiere. In it, we got a look into some of the new features, the look of the Ranch, and a glimpse at some of its residents. You can watch it below.

Story

Thanks to the press release and announcement trailer, we know the story will follow Wishblossom Ranch, which has fallen into ruin thanks to the Decay (the expansion’s version of the Forgetting). Naturally, when you arrive, it’s up to you to team up with Snow White and Tinker Bell to bring the Ranch back to life and find the lost horses.

Enlist the help of Maximus to take care of the animals and restore serenity to the adorable new location.

So, that’s all we know about the Disney Dreamlight Valley Wishblossom Ranch expansion. While waiting for more news, be sure to check out more DDV from the current realms to how to unlock the most recent additions, Joy and Sadness from Inside Out.
