ActivisionWarzone Season 6 is here, with more Ranked Play rewards for you to earn and competitive matches to be won.
Ranked Play made its Warzone debut in 2023, finally introducing a true competitive mode to Call of Duty’s battle royale. In Season 6, both Battle Royale Ranked and Resurgence Ranked exist alongside each other, and they share rewards.
Here’s everything you need to know, including all the rewards, the SR system, current restrictions, and what divisions you can climb to.
How to play Ranked Play in Warzone
If you haven’t qualified for Warzone Ranked Play yet, you’ll have to get top placement in Battle Royale (top 15) or Resurgence (top 6) at least 20 times.
Only Battle Royale and Resurgence count, so you won’t be able to get the required wins in Battle Royale Casual or Bootcamp.

All Ranked Play Divisions
ActivisionYou can progress through eight Skill Divisions by reaching various SR milestones. The current Divisions and SR requirements for each of them are as follows:
- Bronze – Starting Division
- Silver – 900 SR
- Gold – 2,100 SR
- Platinum – 3,600 SR
- Diamond – 5,400 SR
- Crimson – 7,500 SR
- Iridescent – 10,000 SR
- Top 250 – 10,000+ SR
Ranked Play SR system explained
DexertoSkill Rating determines a player’s placement during the season across eight divisions, with everyone starting in Bronze 1 with 0 Skill Rating.
Players progress through higher divisions by reaching specific SR thresholds. Each division has three tiers, except for the top two, Iridescent and Top 250.

Gaining SR
Players primarily earn SR by getting kills and assists, but it is also earned each time a teammate gets a kill. This year, things have been changed up slightly, as there will be a “rank delta” between you and any enemies you kill, meaning that a bigger gap in rank will give you more or fewer points. This is based on whether those players are +/- 3 ranks above or below your own.
Here’s how it works:
Battle Royale
| Rank Delta | Points earned |
|---|---|
| -3 | 4 |
| -2 | 5 |
| -1 | 6 |
| 0 | 8 |
| 1 | 9 |
| 2 | 10 |
| 3 | 12 |
So if you are Bronze 1 and kill a player that is Silver 1, you will get 12 extra elimination points.
Resurgence
| Rank Delta | Points earned |
|---|---|
| -3 | 1 |
| -2 | 1 |
| -1 | 2 |
| 0 | 2 |
| 1 | 3 |
| 2 | 3 |
| 3 | 4 |
Similarly, you can earn extra SR through placement points. You also earn bonus SR per elimination, based on how high you finish. This is how it breaks down:
Battle Royale
| Placement | Placement SR | SR Per Elim |
|---|---|---|
| Top 40 | 0 | 4 |
| Top 30 | 10 | 5 |
| Top 20 | 20 | 6 |
| Top 15 | 30 | 8 |
| Top 10 | 50 | 9 |
| Top 5 | 60 | 10 |
| 1st | 100 | 12 |
Resurgence
| Placement | Placement SR | SR Per Elim |
|---|---|---|
| Top 15 | 0 | 1 |
| Top 13 | 10 | 1 |
| Top 10 | 20 | 2 |
| Top 8 | 30 | 2 |
| Top 6 | 50 | 3 |
| Top 4 | 100 | 3 |
| 1st | 125 | 4 |
Losing SR
While there are many ways to gain SR, it can also be lost just as easily, thanks to deployment fees.
Deployment Fee
You’ll need to spend SR for each deployment into a match. The lone exception to this is if you are in Bronze, but Silver Division players and up have to pay the following Deployment Fees:
Battle Royale
| RANK | DEPLOYMENT FEE |
|---|---|
| Silver I | -5 SR |
| Silver II | -10 SR |
| Silver III | -15 SR |
| Gold I | -25 SR |
| Gold II | -30 SR |
| Gold III | -35 SR |
| Platinum I | -45 SR |
| Platinum II | -50 SR |
| Platinum III | -55 SR |
| Diamond I | -65 SR |
| Diamond II | -70 SR |
| Diamond III | -75 SR |
| Crimson I | -85 SR |
| Crimson II | -90 SR |
| Crimson III | -95 SR |
| Iridescent & Top 250 | 100 SR plus 5 SR every 500 SR above 10,000, up to a maximum deployment fee of 200 SR. |
Resurgence
| RANK | DEPLOYMENT FEE |
|---|---|
| Silver I | -30 SR |
| Silver II | -35 SR |
| Silver III | -40 SR |
| Gold I | -45 SR |
| Gold II | -50 SR |
| Gold III | -55 SR |
| Platinum I | -60 SR |
| Platinum II | -65 SR |
| Platinum III | -70 SR |
| Diamond I | -80 SR |
| Diamond II | -85 SR |
| Diamond III | -90 SR |
| Crimson I | -100 SR |
| Crimson II | -105 SR |
| Crimson III | -110 SR |
| Iridescent & Top 250 | 120 SR plus 5 SR every 500 SR above 10,000, up to a maximum deployment fee of 220 SR. |
You won’t be given a Death Fee on the first match of the day, and for the first three matches of a new Skill Division. However, these don’t stack, so you can only have a maximum of three matches with demotion protection at a time.
It’s worth noting that with the reintroduction of Ranked in Black Ops 6, there is no longer a Death Fee.
