Warzone players call for BO7’s wall jumping to be added permanently

Warzone players are calling for wall jumping to be added to the game, after it was trialed in a limited-time mode that was well-received.

Wall jumping was one of the biggest additions to multiplayer this year with Black Ops 7, offering some pretty wild movement options. By jumping towards a wall and hitting the jump button again, you can push yourself into the air and even chain multiple jumps together to pull off some insane plays.

But when Warzone integrated with BO7 in the Season 1 update, the feature didn’t make the jump over to the battle royale’s core modes. Instead, it was trialed in the Buy Back limited-time mode, alongside grapple hooks, giving fans a taste of what wall jumping would be like in the main game.

Well, the trial appears to have been a success, as many fans are desperate to see it become a major part of Warzone’s movement.

Warzone fans want wall jumping in main modes

Since the Buy Backs LTM went live, social media has been flooded with posts praising what wall jumping brings to the battle royale, with players loving the fluid movement it offers.

“By far the most fun I’ve had on Warzone in a while. Wall jumping and grapple hooks need to be in by default,” said one player on X, while another added: “This is the best Warzone has been since Verdansk launch last year.”

The skill gap wall jumping creates is beautiful it NEEDS to stay in Warzone,” agreed another.

Of course, some players feel that it has no place in the game, as it only makes fights sweatier and could be a turn-off to more casual fans. However, others have argued against this.

“It’s literally just a wall jump. Casual players would benefit from it by being able to traverse buildings better too,” wrote one player. “Yes, it adds a skill ceiling but what doesn’t in shooters?”

There’s currently no news on whether or not wall jumping will be introduced to Warzone as a whole in a future update. Players have speculated that it could instead be part of the Blackout-inspired mode coming in 2026, although nothing has been confirmed just yet.
