Warzone has a new meta AR with insane range & TTK

With the Warzone Season 1 update finally live, there’s a new meta Assault Rifle set to dominate the game in the coming weeks, thanks to its impressive range and damage.

Black Ops 7 has officially integrated with Warzone, bringing all of the multiplayer guns over to battle royale for the first time. It also came with a number of major buffs and nerfs, giving the meta its biggest shake-up in a long time.

While all of the old guns are still more than viable, as always, the newer options are stronger and more popular. But if all the changes have left you wondering which weapon to use, there’s one Assault Rifle that’s a cut above the rest — the DS20 Mirage.

DS20 Mirage is Warzone’s best Assault Rifle

The mid to long-range meta is pretty competitive in Warzone, with plenty of guns like the M15 Mod 0 and X9 Maverick clocking in solid TTKs. As broken down by JGOD in his video, they all kill between 750 and 800ms up to 45 and 55 meters, respectively.

But what separates the Mirage apart is that it can down a fully-plated enemy in 792ms all the way up to 62 meters, giving it a small but noticeable edge over the competition.

While on the face of its time-to-kill might look slightly slower, the DS20’s other secret weapon is how easy it is to use. When running the right loadout, it has virtually no recoil, making it a breeze to hit those shots at longer distances.

So, you’ll be achieving its fastest stats more often than players running the other ARs, giving you a consistency that other guns just don’t offer.

But don’t just take our word for it, FaZe Swagg also sang the rifle’s praises in his Warzone meta video, explaining that it hits “super, super hard.”
