Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is the first movie in a trilogy detailing the dramatic conclusion to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series.
The plot sees Tanjiro Kamado joining the Demon Slayer Corps when his family is killed by one such monster, but his mission to wipe them out is complicated by the fact that his sister was turned into a demon during the same attack.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle breaks US box office record
Sony/CrunchyrollAs of Monday, October 13, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’s North American total is nearly at $128.6 million and its global haul is $648 million.
This means it’s now the highest-grossing non-English international movie of all time in the domestic market, taking the title from 2000’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which earned $128 million in the US and Canada.
It’s also the highest-grossing anime movie of all time in North America, beating the likes of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train ($506.4 million), Your Name ($405.3 million), Spirited Away ($395.5 million), and Suzume ($323.6 million).
But these aren’t the only records it’s broken. The new movie opened with an estimated $70 million haul in US cinemas, which was the biggest opening ever for an anime title domestically.
Indeed, Infinity Castle destroyed the previous record, which was Pokemon: The First Movie’s $31 million haul way back in 1999.
